Mr. Trey Martin, Principal

I am honored to have the opportunity to serve as your principal.  This is my 10th year at AMMS. I have worked for Fulton County Schools for over 29 years, including eleven as principal of State Bridge Crossing Elementary.  I have also served as an assistant principal, a teacher, and as a school assistant in Fulton County Schools. Moreover, I am a product of our school system having attended Woodland ES, Sandy Springs MS, and North Springs HS as a student. I am a graduate of Southern Methodist University, Mercer University, and Lincoln Memorial University. I also received my Leadership Endorsement from the University of Georgia. I was a part of the 2007 Leadership North Fulton Class and was also a member of the 2011 Leadership Johns Creek Team.

My lovely wife is Christine, a former gifted education teacher at Mountain Park ES, who is currently teaching 7th grade math at Georgia Connections Academy. My daughter, Madison, is a recent graduate from Kennesaw State University. My son, John, is a Junior at KSU. I love my family and my job. I cannot imagine doing anything else.

My goal is to do "whatever it takes" to help students succeed. I can rest easily at the end of each day knowing that my decisions are based on what I believe is best for kids. I feel very fortunate to be a part a superior staff and a very supportive community. Together, we can make a difference!
